PEOPLE planning to attend the city's postponed hot air balloon festival have been told their tickets will automatically be transferred.
However, some would-be visitors will not be able to attend on the new dates and will want to have their tickets refunded.
Worcester Balloon Festival was initially set to take place at Pitchcroft on Friday and Saturday (May 12 and 13).
But organisers decided to postpone the event because the racecourse is waterlogged and "could be slippery in places".
Ticket holders will still be able to use their purchased tickets on new dates which are June 23 and 24.
However, customers who cannot make the new dates have been told to request a refund through the ticket provider Skiddle.
Worcester Balloon Festival: how do I get a refund?
Here is how to request a refund on Skiddle.
1. Visit www.skiddle.com/orders and click Request Cool Off refund.
2. Customers will then have to outline why they would like a refund and then enter the last four digits of their payment card for security.
App users should click on the My Ticket section and under Options click Cool Off.
Booking fees and refund protection are non-refundable.
A spokesperson for the festival said: "We want to provide the very best experience for everyone in Worcester and therefore have made the difficult decision to postpone until June 23rd and 24th to give the ground time to dry out.
Please be patient as we have received a lot of messages and will do our best to get back to everyone.
"Tickets will be automatically moved to the new date, if you are unable to make that date please contact Skiddle who will refund you."
