A WOMAN has been fined for stealing alcohol from Tesco in Worcester.
Hayley Hope stole three bottles of wine of a value of £16.95 from Tesco in the city on May 3.
She pleaded guilty to the charge at Kidderminster Magistrates’ Court.
Hope, 56, of Lincoln Green, Worcester, was fined £40, ordered to pay compensation of £5, a victim surcharge of £130 and costs of £130 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
Meanwhile, two men have been fined for speeding.
Barnabas Moyo drove a large goods vehicle on the single carriageway A46 Sedgeberrow Bypass towards Cheltenham at a speed exceeding 60 miles per hour in October.
He pleaded guilty by single justice procedure.
Moyo, 55, of Jasmine Road, Malvern, was fined £132, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34, and costs of £110.
His driving record was also endorsed with four points.
Another man was fined for speeding in Worcester.
On September 14, Simon Hadlington was caught speeding on the M5 northbound between junctions 4a to 6, with variable speed limits, at a speed exceeding 60 miles per hour.
Hadlington, 41, previously pleaded not guilty to the charge but changed his plea to guilty.
Hadlington, of Queen Street, Wordsley, was fined £40, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and costs of £135 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
His driving record was also endorsed with three points.
