A man was trapped in his car after a crash in Hereford yesterday.
Firefighters had to free him from the car which had crashed on the A465 Lugg Bridge Road, Lugg Bridge, at around 1.30pm.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “On arrival at the scene, crews found a car that had left the road and rolled over.
“The man driving the car, believed to be in his early 20’s was trapped in the vehicle and treated at the scene.
“He was extricated from the car by the fire service and treated for neck, back and thigh injuries.
“He was immobilised using a spinal board and neck collar and transferred by land ambulance to Hereford County Hospital for further assessment and treatment.
“No other person was injured in the crash.”
Two ambulances, two rapid response vehicles, an incident support officer, a BASICS Doctor and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Strensham went to the crash.
