A MAN exposed himself to girls on two separate occasions in Hereford.

A 15-year-old girl was walking home from school along Old Eign Hill on Thursday at 3.30pm when she saw a man standing in the close.

He pulled down his light blue shorts and began touching himself.

The man was also wearing a navy blue hooded top.

It is believed the same man also exposed himself to two 11-year-old girls at around 4.50pm on Saturday.

The two girls were walking along Penn Grove Road when they noticed a man in a grey hooded top and grey tracksuit bottoms coming towards them.

As they got closer, the man pulled down his trousers and began to touch himself.

Detective Constable Darren Ball, who is investigating, said: “We would like to stress that at no point during either incident did this man try to talk to the girls or attempt to touch them.

“We believe from the descriptions we have been given and the circumstances, that it is likely to be the same man involved in both incidents.

"Clearly it is worrying that he is approaching young girls in this way and we need to find out who he is.

The man is described as white, aged 30 to 40, 5ft 8ins tall and of a slim build.

He has short, dark brown hair which is spiked up at the front and is described as having a chubby face with thick eyebrows.

DC Ball added: “The girls from both incidents also describe him as having a blank look in his eyes.

“I would urge anyone who saw this man in the area of Stopford Close or Penn Grove Road on the dates mentioned to call us.

I am also keen to hear from anyone who might recognise who the man is from the description given.”
