A WYCHBOLD store is inviting people to get creative and take part in a craft event.
Hobbycraft Droitwich, based at Webbs garden centre, Wychbold, is holding its first-ever Butterfly Craft Party in aid of Acorns Children's Hospice.
The party is taking place from 10am on Saturday, March 30 and the butterfly theme has been chosen as it’s the official logo of Together for Short Lives, the leading charity for UK children’s hospices and Hobbycraft’s charity of the year for 2013.
From as little as a £1 donation families can take part in butterfly face painting, badge-making, try some iced butterfly cookies or create colourful butterfly characters, masks and posters.
Hobbycraft Droitwich manager, Neil Handford, said: “We want people to have lots of fun at the craft party so we’ll be offering families all they need to make an array of fabulous butterfly themed creations. With activities suitable for everyone, we want to raise as much money as we can for such a worthy cause.”
