SPA residents are now being reminded they can apply for new car park season tickets from Wychavon District Council.
Tickets, with the new reduced pricing for 2013/2014, are available on an annual, quarterly or monthly basis.
Car parks covered in Droitwich include Friar Street, St Andrew’s Saltway, Lido Park and Gateway Car Park, Hanbury Road, Droitwich.
Christine Baxter, Parking Services Manager, said: “Our 50p for half hour tariff has proved very popular with our residents, and we’re sure they’ll be happy to see the cost of season tickets coming down too. And to be able to pay for the annual tickets by direct debit means that we can now take payments for season tickets in a swift as well as secure way, with the greatest of convenience for customers.”
Annual tickets are now priced at £400 – down from £600 – or £100 per quarter, including VAT. Annual tickets are available for the full year from the date of purchase starting on the first of the month following receipt of application.
Monthly tickets are available at a new lower price of £40 for advance payment only, and these too will commence on the first of the month.
To pick up an application form for car park season tickets, visit any of the contact centres in either Droitwich or Evesham, or the Civic Centre in Pershore. Alternatively, call 01386 565009 or email parking@wychavon.gov.uk. You can also go online at wychavon.gov.uk/parking
