A DROITWICH group is appealing for more members to help boost the charity work it carries out.
Droitwich Lions Club is set to hold an open evening aimed at encourage more people to get involved.
Group president Phil Wallis said: “We are looking for people who can bring new ideas to the club and help us make a difference to the community. Currently we have 18 active members and with more help we can take on additional worthy charitable projects we have in the pipeline.”
The club is to hold the membership event on Thursday, March 21 at 8pm at the Old Cock Inn, Friar Street. Membership is open to men and women over the age of 18.
