SOPHISTICATED jazz and Latin grooves filled the idyllic surroundings of Brockencote Hall at the official launch of 2013’s A Taste of Worcestershire Food Festival.
Local group Hill Street Jazz were on hand to get everyone in the mood for the two-day event, which this year also incorporates a Jazz Festival.
The food festival takes place in a spacious marquee and the surrounding meadow at Brockencote Hall, in Chaddesley Corbett, from Saturday, July 27 to Sunday July 28. With a host of stalls, cookery demonstrations and live entertainment throughout both days, the event will celebrate fine food and drink from Worcestershire and beyond.
The fun will extend into the evening on Saturday with the Jazz Festival, when visitors can sample real ales as well as listening to well-known jazz, blues and swing artists.
Dean Gunston, general manager at Brockencote, said: “We believe very strongly in championing the wealth and quality of local produce in Worcestershire and the surrounding area.
“After the resounding success of last year’s festival we are delighted to welcome foodies from around the county back to Brockencote for this fabulous event. In 2012 we had more than 1,600 visitors and this year we are hoping to attract even more.”
