A NEW business solutions initiative has been launched to put support and information for Tenbury firms all in one place.

Worcestershire County Council has worked with a number of partners across the county to create Worcestershire Business Central in response to call from more than 1,200 businesses for a single point of information and advice.

The website will allow start-ups and growing businesses to develop skills, find property, network or seek information on finance.

Dean Attwell, Oakland International managing director and deputy chairman of the Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership, said: "With the demise of AWM and Business Link there was a gap in the provision of support for services and where to find information, WBC is an excellent idea and I look forward to seeing Worcestershire businesses reap the rewards by accessing the services and programmes it can bring."

Steve Borwell-Fox, managing director from Borwell Ltd, said: “The joined up and integrated support, 'one stop shop' approach of Worcestershire Business Central is great business support. The single events calendar means that you don't miss out on anything.”
