With the final bank holiday until Christmas upon us, many of us will be looking to take the opportunity of a day off by tackling any DIY jobs we’ve yet to get round to this summer.

With that in mind, we’ve taken a look at some home and garden stores to see what time they will be open over the Bank Holiday weekend.

From Homebase to B&Q, if you are in need of last minute material for any job, this is when you will be able to grab them.

Homebase Bank Holiday opening times

Most Homebase stores will be open on Bank Holiday Monday, though shoppers are being advised to check their local store before travelling.

A number of Homebase outlets will be open between 8am and 7pm, slightly reduced from their normal 8am to 8pm opening times.

You can check the opening time of your local Homebase on the company’s store locator here.

B&Q Bank Holiday opening times

B&Q branches are expected to be open until 8pm on Bank Holiday Monday, with some opening as early as 7am while others will open at 8am.

It is recommended that you check the company’s store locator to find the exact opening times of your local B&Q this weekend.

Wickes Bank Holiday opening times

Wickes has confirmed that all 230 of its stores will be open on Bank Holiday Monday, though the company recommended checking the times for your local branch as opening hours can vary by size and location.

A store locator is available on the Wickes website for the most up to date information at your local store.
