Sir – I refer to your article about Dr Richard Taylor (Worcester News, May 25). I think that Dr Taylor is one of the hardest working, most humane and patient-friendly medical practitioners I have come across. I really do think that the NHS should consider reopening the A&E department at Kidderminster Hospital.
Having worked in occupational health, I went one day a week to update my skills and awareness of new treatment methods.
I always found the place to be friendly and the staff most professional towards the patients and each other.
They were willing to share their knowledge. It was one of the best A&E departments with which I have worked.
Please may we give the people back their well- deserved facility, which they have paid for, to give them peace of mind.
