SIR – All the meetings and time talking about the Guildhall in Worcester haven’t done any good.

Nobody goes through the doors – this wonderful building used to be shared by visitors and residents alike.

There is no cafe to entice anyone in. Why? Surely that generated some income?

There are no events because of the greed of the Tory council. They upped the prices and now no one is willing to spend the money.

It’s like the Government; it slashes jobs and increases VAT and then says that nobody is spending any money and that all the shops are closing and then wonders what to do.

We need honesty, truth and understanding where the economy is concerned.

In Worcester Russell & Dorrell is in administration and the sorting office is under threat – it all means even less money in the local economy.
