SIR – BBC Radio 5 live is always having a go at benefits claimants.
They seldom mention the rich people who evade/avoid paying taxes (including massive businesses).
This is surely clobbering the poor and allowing the rich to get away with cheating (even breaking the law).
BBC broadcasters are highly paid.
The vast majority of benefit claimants are poor.
Radio 5 live should try to be more fair and balanced in the future.
They are not a toffs’ station; their presenters may be wealthy but most of their listeners are working class.
Even poor people have to pay the near licence fee; its compulsory.
