SIR – I visited Leamington Spa last Friday and what a pleasure it was.

It was an easy 45-minute run and there were clear signs for parking.

Okay, the sun was shining but everywhere was clean and tidy, and there was a good selection of high street shops and individual ones to suit all ages and pockets.

The choice of places to eat varied from small takeaways for a quick lunch to a variety of cafes, most of which were making the most of the good weather with chairs and tables set outside.

In comparison Worcester is like the poor relative struggling to keep up.

Oh, and I paid £2 for up to three hours in a car park situated in a shopping mall.
