SIR – Evidently the county council was either bored, trying to clear stock piles or feels the cold more than the rest of us.
While out driving on Wednesday, February 2, I noticed a gritter lorry spreading grit.
The only problem was that the temperature gauge in my car was reading 9C. The minimum on the forecast was 3C. I think they wer being a little over-cautious.
