SIR – The Worcester News (January 29) carried two stories about immigrants.
One concerned a man from Sierra Leone caught stealing copper pipe.
The other was about a Romanian shoplifter stealing from Worcester high street shops.
Both incidents cost you and I money in police time and court time and are a direct result of the open borders of our country forced on us by the Europeans. Recently, I’ve been spending a lot of time in NHS reception areas and waiting rooms as I’ve been ferrying a relative and friends to their appointments with the NHS.
The huge number of foreigners we encountered was almost alarming. In one waiting room the foreigners outnumbered the English. Why, when our country is in debt and there are few jobs about, are more and more health tourist immigrants being let in?
