SIR – Recently our Prime Minister visited China where he raised the issue of human rights.
Meanwhile back in his own country, Christians all across the land are losing their livelihood for trying to practise their faith in the workplace and Catholic adoption agencys have been forced to close.
The recent case of Christians losing their rights to apply their faith and conscience in their bed and breakfast business has outraged many people.
Our culture of freedom of faith and conscience, freedom of speech was once the envy of the world but with our muted complicity we have allowed an atheistic humanist agenda to begin to dismantle this using political correctness and legislation Now we see a culture of violence and murder and an endless parade of bereaved relatives on TV.
I for one would be ashamed to recommend this to the Chinese.
