SIR - Throughout the Second World War the Germans never stopped trade between New Zealand and ourselves but 65 years later a German dairy company has persuaded the EU to put in place an immediate ban on imports of New Zealand butter. The EU shows yet again it is the enemy of free trade and yet the British Government sits back and does nothing to protect our fellow Commonwealth citizens.
