SIR - Mr Foster's tirade (Letters, June 29) is an example of the ploy used by all politicians. Accusations made by other politicians are rebuffed by a plethora of words denigrating the past performances of their accusers.

I wonder if Mr Foster is prepared to give unqualified and unambiguous answers to the following questions.

Does he intend to fight against the proposed axing of some of the essential services currently provided by our primary care trust?

Why is there no evidence of him attending the recent debate Your Health, Your Future? What action will he take to secure other employment for the 720 staff to be made redundant in our NHS service?

I M JARVIS,

Worcester.
