SIR – We all have a collective responsibility to not talk down the recession. Any organisation doing so is acting in a very selfish manner, when as a result working people are denied the opportunity of work.
Indeed, one wonders how many dinner parties the typical spokesman concerned attends.
How many influential employers decide to delay that project or employment as a result of what can only be described as subjective projections. If the organisations were so good at forecasting these trends why don’t they make a fortune in stocks and shares?
