Sir – Worcester’s Victorian Fayre heralded the start of the Christmas festivities.
It’s a time of fun and merriment.
Panto season at our Swan Theatre brings the joy of live theatre to young and old alike. It is always worth a visit.
A Worcester youth drama group will be taking a rock ‘n’ roll cabaret around residential homes and other venues during the winter. It will be back to the 1950s as Worcester Operatic and Dramatic Society Youth Section jive to the sounds of Bill Haley’s Rock Around the Clock and many other rock ‘n’ roll numbers, including an Elvis Presley medley.
In the new year the 12 members of the cabaret will join the rest of WODYS’ 70 members as they start rehearsals for next year’s musical production Disco Inferno, which will be staged at Worcester’s Swan Theatre from Tuesday, August 3, to Saturday, August 7. Dave Skelton
WODYS business manager, Worcester
