SIR – The misappropriation of MPs’ expenses has created widespread distrust of all politicians of the three main parties.
However, while MPs divert attention with an appearance of a cross- party loyalty agreement that they all support the clean-up of expenses, let’s not be under any illusions about the way the Tories want you to view and have sympathy for one young man or how Labour hope you’ll stick to ‘better the devil you know’.
The people of Worcester deserve to know individual policy details and how they will affect them after the next election. Will higher value working tax credits be reduced to a standard lower fixed sum for all and paid via child benefit?
Will there be tax rises and what will they be? I see the success Dr Richard Taylor MP, Independent for Wyre Forest, has achieved, and by putting public service before self, when elected, I hope to deliver the same for the Worcester people.

Independent parliamentary candidate for Worcester
