Sir – I was surprised, but perhaps I should not have been, by the attendance of MPs at the recent parliamentary debate on tackling anti-social behavior in Dr Richard Taylor’s column in the Worcester News (November 12).

Despite members of the public consistently putting this high on the list of matters which they feel need serious attention, only 22 MPs could bother to turn up.

It shows again how disconnected they seem to be from the concerns of their constituents.
