SIR – I drove a disabled OAP into Worcester, in their own car, and parked in the council car park at the Corn Exchange. A blue disabled badge was clearly left on display.
On return from a short shopping trip to the Shambles we found a parking ticket stuck to the windscreen.
On enquiring we found that disabled people still had to pay a parking charge even though it is a council car park. Only a Tory council could sink so low as to discriminate against disabled OAPs.
This is a clear indication and warning as to how a future Tory government intends to treat them.
