SIR – I see that the company intending to put wind farms in our lovely English county is Scottish Power, but Peter Luff merely wants to regulate the siting of them. What is wrong with putting these things in Scotland? After all, we are supposed to have a National Grid distributing electricity throughout Britain.
Does Evesham have stronger winds than the Highlands or is Scotland’s tourist trade too important to site these among their hundreds of thousands of uninhabited square miles?
We need an English parliament to look after English interests instead of a British parliament which works against us.
I am a member of the English Democrats Party, which puts the interests of England first. Peter Luff belongs to the Tories and Cameron pledged to “fight those little Englanders” because, as he broadcast on BBC TV: “There is plenty of Scottish blood flowing through my veins”.
Blair and Brown also have Scottish blood and their greatest accomplishment has been to set up an independent Scottish parliament to ensure destructive policies such as this can’t affect their country. Their next major objective seems to be the destruction of England.
