SIR – On behalf of Pershore and District RNA, may I say a huge thank you to everybody involved with our fireworks display on Sunday, November 1.
Our third event was the best yet and there were a record number of local people.
Special thanks go to Councillor Andy Dyke, who opened the proceedings, Mayor Chris Parsons and his family for putting on such a fantastic fireworks display and to Mark Newell, and his family for the pig roast.
Also thanks to Pershore Town Council for allowing us to use the land again. I must also thank my own family and club members for their hard work and dedication.
It’s wonderful to see the look of joy on people’s faces as the fireworks light up the sky. We are keen to keep this annual event running to give people the opportunity of attending an organised display in Pershore. There is always such a warm community spirit, it makes all the hard work worthwhile.
