SIR – Regarding BBC Question Time, I always knew this programme was fixed but not to the extent that we were subjected to on October 22.

Who would have thought the BBC could stoop so low to try and manipulate viewers?

It has been revealed since that the audience were hand-picked, not a cross section of the public as stated, and David Dimbleby told them it is OK to jeer and boo. It is time he was sacked. They must think we, the viewers, are stupid. It makes me wonder how they have fixed the programme in the past. It is right what they call it – the Biased Broadcasting Company.
