SIR – On Thursday, October 8, at about 11pm, two ladies driving out of Worcester city centre along the Sansome Walk area saw a distressed elderly lady. They stopped to help her and soon established she was lost. The elderly lady had emergency contact numbers in her handbag and we were called immediately. The two ladies then took the elderly lady to her address and made her a cup of tea and stayed until we arrived. The Good Samaritans were a nurse and a physiotherapist. Unfortunately, amid our shock we forgot to get the names and addresses of our mothers’ guardian angels. This is our only way of saying thank you so much for your caring help. It is reassuring that the public care and that all news in the media is not doom and gloom. Blessings to both of you.
