SIR – Regarding “Facts would get in the way of prejudice”, October 7, you’re wrong David. I gave you the information you wanted – look again – but it’s irrelevant.

Moreover, “prejudice” is your invention, not mine.

If you wish to follow that vein deeper I suggest you review John Phillpott, Worcester News, August 29. You haven’t a clue how to answer the many questions I, and others, have thrown up. That is why you are reduced to employing your finely-honed skills of ridicule, obfuscation and invention. Labour gave 733,090 national insurance numbers to immigrants last year. How many have they given out to immigrants in 12 years and how many millions of people is that, once dependants are added?

You “downgrade immigration as a factor” because it doesn’t suit the Labour Party to admit immigration is the primary reason our nation is being concreted over, and our environment is being progressively destroyed by unsustainable levels of growth and development.

N TAYLOR,
Worcester.
