SIR – Visitors to Old St Martin’s Church in the Cornmarket often tell us that they are former pupils of St Martin’s Boys School, which used to stand next to the church, more or less on the site now occupied by the Salvation Army.
We would like to offer the opportunity of an old boys reunion if enough former pupils would be interested.
We would be pleased to welcome them to St Swithun’s Institute to a social gathering when they could share old memories.
Any former pupils reading this or anyone in contact with other old boys who might be interested in such a reunion should contact Paul Westcott on 01905 452071 or write to him at the Parish Office, St Swithun’s Institute, the Trinity, Worcester, WR1 2PN, so that we can see how many people would be likely to attend such an event.
P M DAVIDGE,
Churchwarden.
