SIR – As ever our local member makes some interesting statements in his local propaganda leaflet. Firstly, on the new Tudor Grange Academy, Mike Foster seems intent on taking credit for this. What about the staff, children and families? Without them there would be no school at all.
Mr Foster seems to think 96 per cent are in favour of a new bridge over the river at Claines and Hallow. Could he clarify where he got the figure of 96 per cent and how precise this is for the said suggested area?
Our MP also suggests he wants a new swimming pool in our city.
I agree, Mike, but please could you tell me why you have to use a leaflet to respond to a question I asked you in a letter.
Why can you not respond to me?
Garden waste – how can Mike claim victory?
This was encouraged by members and the idea was mostly developed by council officers.
You never attend city council meetings. Finally, Mike, are you a member of the Labour party?
Not once does your leaflet make reference to the fact you are a Labour MP.
Alex Kear,
Claines,
Worcester.
