sir – Could somebody answer this question.
Why, when things are put into place to try to make life easier for us are they not used?
Traffic light crossings – not just the London Road ones. I have noticed people either don’t push the button at all or if they do, cross before the green man appears. The poor driver, when he knocks you down, will get the blame through your stupidity.
Also, I was in a bank and it’s got the buttons for easy access. Five people, including a woman in army/cadet uniform, pulled the door manually and another woman continued walking towards the doors as they were closing (bet she would’ve complained had the doors hit her).
All I would say to that woman is – tough, your fault.
If the doors had been used correctly and malfunctioned she would have had a case.
Jenifer shore,
Worcester.
