SIR – I respect Mr Myers’ right to his opinions and I happen to agree with a couple of his points. However, I regret he feels the need to support his opinions about the ring-road by arrogating to himself the mantle of objectivity, and thereby casting every opposing view into the ‘dustbin’ of unreasonableness Where, exactly, is this northern ring-road to go? Is it to Hallow and thence into St John’s?
Or is it to progress up Bromyard Road and fight for road space with traffic to its car dealerships and factories? If not through St John’s, then where?
There’s an awful lot of opinionated hot air on this subject. I have opinions on the matter – but they are just that, opinions. Someone, somewhere surely must have the answers to my question, and many others, and could disseminate them in a manner that we could all assimilate and base opinions on! Or are we, as usual, to be told what is good for us by quango appointees, and our elected local and national politicians without them ever having to justify their decisions?
J MAHONEY,
Worcester.
