SIR – With the news reports that Prince Charles was 60 last month I recalled I was seconded by the air ministry to the United Nations third and sixth GA Assemblies in Paris.
I was with the civil service in Harrogate and five Worcester girls were also seconded so I wondered if any are still alive. I will list their maiden names – Peggy Chirl, Jo Chance, Doris Smith, June Neath and Irene Williams.
We were all in Paris for three months for the third and sixth assemblies and never since has the GA been out of America.
As I am now 85 years old I am interested to hear from any old friends or their relatives. I hope with your paper you can help.
BILLY ROBERT (nee Nolan),
