SIR – I refer to the article on Tuesday, October 28, concerning Michael Sefton.
Here is a man who has been disabled not only by mental health problems for many years, but also, following a motorbike accident, he lost a leg and also the use of one arm.
Here is a human being needing care and understanding. The catalogue of incidents documented in the article shows deep distress and a cry for help.
How on earth did the situation develop to such an extent before Michael was helped in a more therapeutic environment?
I found the article deeply upsetting.
MRS G BREAKWELL, Worcester.
