SIR – With reference to the latest headline about even more houses being foisted upon us.
I would dearly like to know what our MP Mike Foster is doing about it.
He got into Parliament fighting for foxes, how about fighting now for Worcester if he wants to keep his seat.
It must be obvious that without the infrastructure in place there is going to be trouble ahead.
Being an ex-St John’s-ite I can well remember after the war when at times you could cut the stinking air coming off the sewage works with a knife and we lived about a mile away.
I can foresee a return to those heady days of summer.
Has anyone worked out how many extra gallons is going to be pumped in Bromwich Road each day?
Isn’t it time our MP and councillors of city and county said a unanimous no – unless central government puts up the cash to pay for all the necessary works, which includes roads and river bridges – before a brick is laid.
BILL MEADOWS, Worcester.
