SIR – I read the article in the Worcester News regarding the disabled person who could not get his wheelchair out of his car as there was not enough space and was fined £25 for occupying two spaces.
I refer to the comment made by Andy Chinn when he said, “if you cannot park there go somewhere else.” I presume Mr Chinn is not an invalid and at his place of work he has a parking space of his own.
The council should give the £25 back to the person and tell the person who put the fine on the car to use a bit more common sense.
