SIR – If the income from tennis courts at Cripplegate Park only brings in £200 a year why charge at all?
The labour costs alone collecting the fees would come to a lot more and the personnel involved would be free elsewhere. Ghuluvelt Park’s courts have been free for many years. The number of courts there were reduced from four to two.
Could not a similar action be carried out at Cripplegate?
Surely a game between our MP and councillor Simon Geraghty could be the first free so they would not need to claim on their expenses.
PHIL PEGLER, Worcester.
