SIR – With reference to your front page highlighting shamed city buildings in Worcester, what about the antique shop at the spot where the Droitwich and Ombersley roads meet. All the doors and window frames stacked outside are an eyesore to the entrance to the city for visitors. To be across from Gheluvelt Park, which is a memorial to our Worcestershire Regiment is just dreadful.
Surely these sort of things should belong on an industrial estate elsewhere?
In contrast, the bridal shop opposite is a joy to behold.
Please can we have a better look to this untidy mess as it certainly doesn’t enhance the visitor’s first impression of our faithful city.
P WALKER,
Droitwich Spa.
