SIR – Well done to Prince Charles for his outspoken views on the next looming and irreversible disaster for this planet, the proposed uncontrolled expansion of GM crops. There are those who are prepared to poison our planet in the name of financing their scientific research from the huge mainly American GM industry and those who wish to prosper and control for profit at any cost to civilisation. Concerned, honest farmers condemn GM and say that GM will not feed the world, just control it through seed supplies and exorbitantly priced fertilisers and chemical weed treatments.
Feed the world, no feed the profit and control the world by GM.
