SIR – It’s been obvious for some time that something has been wrong with the finances of the council.

With all the front line cuts they’ve been trying to make it now appears those at the top have been having more than the lion’s share of the money coming in.

The unions want to call strikes to inconvenience the public for people at the other end not having a fair deal.

I believe strongly that the council tax should be capped because it shows there’s more than enough money going in but not shared out properly.

JOHN SHEARON, Worcester.
