SIR – It’s good to see the new bus and rail links being given the thumbs up for the west side of the city.
It would be a good thing to have two or three halt stops to get people out of their cars and on to the trains to get into the city.
It would half the congestion trying to get over the bridge. But why stop there?
Have halt stops in Warndon, Fernhill Heath and even Droitwich, and reasonable fares on the trains. It would get many people out of their cars and save an awful lot of energy.
JOHN SHEARON, Worcester.
