With reference to the closure of yet another high street store in Worcester (Flying Tiger).
I looked forward to going into town on the weekend when all the big retail names had stores! Where have they all gone you may ask ?
It’s simple to answer: The business people behind these stores have to make decisions just like the retail customers who use them.
The sad fact is that I don’t venture into Worcester much on weekends anymore!
I would rather go where the infrastructure is better matched for customer satisfaction!
If you ever go to Gloucester Quays you will see that all the big retailers are still alive and thriving.
My point is...If you don’t invest in the infrastructure you eventually lose all the good businesses and customers will go elsewhere too.
A vicious circle and this where we are at in Worcester unfortunately.
Get the road network sorted out for easy access to attract everyone back to the Faithful City.
