SIR - Peter Burgess appears to be quite happy with the fortnightly collection of his wheelie bin. But I am afraid, Peter, that one size doesn't fit all and there are many, many people who are very dissatisfied with the fortnightly collection.
I am quite happy with the wheelie-bin itself because it stops the foxes and other animals getting at the contents. But we really need a weekly collection. As for cost, my taxes didn't go down - indeed, they went up. Perhaps recycled stuff and food waste being turned into energy could be self-financing.
