SIR - Congratulations to Charlie Green on a first- rate performance of the classic Johnny Mercer ballad Summer Wind on TV's Britain's Got Talent.
For a 10-year-old to be able to master this complex song is indeed unique. He has voice, class and style and will surely go far if he chooses a musical career.
Obviously, Charlie comes from a classy pedigree if his dad is the Roger Green who worked at HW Ward Ltd, engineering company some years ago. I worked there during Roger's time and we often talked about music and it became obvious to me he was a very talented person.
