SIR - Reading the Worcester News on Friday, I was really pleased for your culinary critic who was able to spend £125 on a meal at Browns restaurant.
I bet there weren't many old age pensioners as her fellow diners!
They would have needed to spend a week's pension just to keep up with her.
While she was tucking in most pensioners would have been sat in front of a one-bar fire eating bread and scrat and drinking their cocoa.
With all the increases in council tax, electricity, gas and water, there's not much left for dining out!
P HARRISON Worcester.
