SIR - What is going on in the department at Worcester City Council which deals with bus passes?
On Tuesday, March 25, I enquired as to what was happening with the distribution of them, as my wife and I had not heard any news about them.
I was told by telephone that they had all our details and photographs, but no one at the council offices had authorised the production of our passes.
I was also told that in the next two days someone would contact us to give us instructions as to what to do.
On Friday, April 4, not having heard anything from the council, I called in to the offices and was told that there was a backlog, and that we would receive our passes in 10 days' time through the post.
Two weeks have passed and still we have no bus passes.
In the Worcester News, a statement from the council said that there were problems at the manufacturing company.
Three different stories! Which is correct?
We know that we can use our existing bus passes until September of this year, locally.
But, if the new passes are still not available what then?
T WEBB, Worcester.
