SIR - To the people of Worcester and out of town villages who need the cars and vans to get to work, isn't it time we stood up to these petrol and diesel prices?
Perhaps we should not purchase any fuel for 24 hours. I was recently in Cheltenham where there was a supermarket with fuel prices of £1.02.9 per litre unleaded. I cannot be sure of the diesel price but it was less than anything you can find around Worcester.
I always thought supermarkets kept their prices down, but that seems to have gone by the board since 2007.
I do think we in Worcester should make a stand. How about on Thursday, May 1?
