SIR - It appears that the county council is one of the least popular in the country, and they seem puzzled to understand why.

Here's a few reasons: for a start we don't know who they are, they never listen to the electorate and you never know who represents who.

All they seem to think about is money, especially this last year with lots of cuts in services to the most vulnerable. But they manage to find money to look after themselves.
