SIR - Worcester News (March 10) reports that the plan for Warndon Villages parish is axed due to lack of response'. The council has had to accept that they are dealing with a contented community.
The parish council was set up in the late 1980s to oversee and assist the city and county councils with the building and development of the Warndon Villages and to that end they have been very successful. We have a thriving, well managed community centre, excellent landscaping maintenance and the roundabouts are now looking wonderful. Surely the time has come for them to congratulate themselves on a job well done, pack up and shut up shop!
I will be interested to read what other residents think about this proposal.
